Tex's Travels – Supreme Bass

Last weekend, my wife and I made it out to Supreme Bass Fishing in Aledo, TX. It was a little windy, but we had a blast catching monster blue gill and hefty bass by the docks. Big hybrid-stripers were chasing bait fish all around the upper lake and making the water boil every 10 or 15 minutes. Next time out, I am going bring a pocket full of gummy minnows and try to hook up with a hybrid.

Another bass for Amy. I admit it - she outfished me.

I am not surprised that she outfished you, Tex! I have always found that the “Amish Meat knot fly” is the BEST fly for hybrid stripers, give me a shout and I will get you a few.
