Tailwaters Fly Fishing Company is looking for an administrative assistant & office manager to fill a full time position on our staff. We are creating a new position to primarily assist in our travel department, however would also have some admin responsibilities associated with the retail business as well. Past experience with administrative assistance preferred but not required.

Person must be motivated multi-tasker with minimal supervision and take self-directed approach with strong attention to detail, speed and accuracy. Must also be a people person with good communication skills.

Job description & responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reports directly to owner / travel department director
• Organization and management of travel client trips files and correspondence
• Travel client database management
• Accounting & Bookkeeping (Travel & Retail)
• Basic website, blog, and social media contribution
• Calendars & employee meetings organization
• General office and backroom organization
• Special Event organization & coordination
• Answering the phone and taking messages
• Data entry
• Light retail assistance with purchase ordering, inventory control, receiving, and repairs
• Retail Customer Service (answering emails in company general email address)
• Miscellaneous support to ownership and management (clerical, errands, etc.)

Computer Skills Required
QuickBooks 2012
Microsoft Office including Word & Excel
General knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems

Other Computer Skills (Bonus by not required)
Adobe Suite Programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Retail Pro
Knowledge of basic HTML code
