David Leake has a decade of experience in the fly fishing travel and retail industry. His daily duties mainly revolve around managing the travel department at Tailwaters. David is also the chief editor of the Tailwaters website, newsletters, catalogs, marketing, and pre-trip materials.
David has traveled throughout the world developing our travel offerings. These destinations include, but are not limited to, Alaska, Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Seychelles, Venezuela, and of course the U.S. West. |

| Brent is originally from the small West Texas town of Follett, a convenient launching pad for his lengthy summers on the river in southern Colorado. Brent graduated from Texas Tech University in 1993 and immediately moved to Dallas to begin his professional career. His business career was highlighted by 10 years in the commercial real estate industry. Brent's entrepreneurial spirit and general business experience is an enormous asset to Tailwaters. In addition to the day-to-day routine at the shop, Brent is also becoming an integral part of the travel department as well. | |

| Travis (Tex) wears more hats than any of us. His extensive experience in the fly fisshing industry allows him to multi-task assisting and directing all jobs related to the storefront, inventory, the website, the sales floor, schools and lessons, or simply putting out fires. | |

| Bart was born in Upstate New York, and is a Colgate University grad. Bart joined Tailwaters in 2007 after spending the last four years living and fishing in Jackson Hole, WY. Before tackling the rivers of the mountain west, he was a guide, head instructor, and assistant manager of the Delaware River Club in Northeast Pennsylvania. Having fourteen years of retail and fly shop experience, Bart's customer oriented attitude and technical knowledge make him an incredible store manager. | |

| Matt is our resident website manager and oversees all of our graphic work and website management. Matt is also a full time guide at Unalakleet River Lodge in Alaska during the summer, and is an incredible photographer. | |

| Ron Foster is our loveable part time and weekend help. Ron has been fly fishing for thirty years and worked for Orvis Company in Dallas for ten years before joining our team in 2007. Ron has fished all over the world and offers incredible enthusiasm and a welcoming presence on the sales floor. | |
