If you’ve ever been to Texas’ Fly Shop on Levee Street, you’ve experienced firsthand the unique setting of our fly shop in the Dallas Design District. We offer a welcoming, spacious, one of a kind atmosphere that is perfect for all types or formal and informal gatherings.

Our 5,000 square foot showroom and backyard provide a public and private event space for a variety of festivities and special occasions. Currently, Tailwaters successfully hosts many private events including the annual Dallas Safari Club Jamboree, Camp Firewalker CrawFish boil, Borracho Pescador Redfish Tourney Kick off Party, corporate events and incredible private parties that welcome guests into a true experience of the Tailwaters culture!

Our shop accepts reservations ranging from social and business functions at our bar, back deck and spacious back yard on the Trinity River. All events are staffed with two employees including a dedicated private party manager. Our experienced events team can help plan, coordinate and execute every detail of your special occasion.  We can assist with caterers, bartenders, and other third party services for your event.

Rising Tide Partnership

Interested in a fundraiser or charity event at our shop? Our Rising Tide Partnership is a really fun and effective way to host an event for your charity, school, or organization. A portion of proceeds from the day’s sales are donated to your cause or organization.

We encourage you to come by the shop prior to booking your private event, take a look at the infamous Tailwaters bar, covered patio, pool table, and shopping opportunities offered at the store! Get a first-hand look at the space and have a beer on us. You’ll quickly picture your next event fundraiser, corporate or private happy hour, or other unique event here at Tailwaters HQ!

Basic Rental Fee

For 15 guest or less:

$375 per hour
We allow a free half-hour to set up/breakdown at the beginning and end of every event

Optional additions: (Add $150/hr for each option)
While most groups simply enjoy the space as a perfect venue for their event, know that we can also enhance the fly fishing experience for your guests.
