The following Conditions of Use apply to the use of the Tailwaters website as well as all transactions conducted on the site.
The content of the pages of this website is for our customer’s general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
Tailwaters Fly Fishing Company, LLC has meticulously prepared the content of this website, in particular to ensure that all products have been fairly described and prices quoted are correct at the time they are published.
Every effort is made to keep this website up and running smoothly. However, Tailwaters Fly Fishing Company takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
Sales Tax: Tailwaters Fly Fishing Company charges applicable sales tax for merchandise ordered on this website and shipped to a Texas location. This includes all orders that are placed from outside of Texas and shipped to a Texas address.
All return items must be in original packaging and completely unused and unworn.
Management reserves the right to refuse returns if items are not in a condition to be resold.
Receipt of payment is acknowledgment that the customer has read and accepts the refund policy.
Package and return any regularly stocked merchandise to us within 30 days for a full refund, credit, or exchange. Returns between 31 and 90 days receive store credit. No returns after 90 days. All sale, clearance, and special order items may not be returned for any reason other than being defective.
A copy of the receipt, packing slip, or invoice should accompany all returns. Include your request for a refund, exchange, or replacement.
Rod & Reel returns: Rods, Reels, and Lines that have been used and cast outside of the shop may not be eligible for return, exchange, or credit.
Waders & Boots: Please try on waders and boots inside a clean house to ensure a proper fit before using them for outdoor use. Used boots and waders will not be approved for return, exchange, or credit.
SPECIAL ORDER RETURNS
Returns are not accepted on special orders unless defective, orders will be charged after confirmation the item is available and the order is placed. Custom items such as waders, reels, personalizations’, etc, will have additional charges. Shipping charges will be applied to non-assortment special orders.
Our repair program is a service that we provide to better help our customers. It is not, however, a service that we generate revenue from, we only wish to break even. Tailwaters pricing for repairs will vary for every brand and will align with the pricing of the manufacturer plus a small shipping fee. Our repair fee is not set in stone and can change if the manufacturer’s price or the cost of shipping changes. Depending on the model and/or age of a product, the repair price can vary with each manufacturer. Tailwaters is not responsible if repair item has not been received in the allotted time of a manufacturer’s return policy.
REEL REWARDS CUSTOMER LOYALTY PROGRAM DISCLAIMER
“The Reel Rewards offers certain rewards, which may not be identified to you in advance. Only one person per rewards program. Number, type and frequency of rewards are based upon a number of factors, each subject to change, including without limitation, volume and type of purchases at Tailwaters Fly Fishing, type and amount of personal information provided (for example, a unique and valid email address and phone number), and type and amount of participation in and/or interaction with Tailwaters Fly Fishing activities. In the event of any discrepancy, Tailwaters Fly Fishing determination of the size of the reward shall be final. When earned, rewards will be identified by visiting getmybalance.com, on your e-receipt or inquiring at Tailwaters Fly Fishing. Rewards are subject to change or substitution without notice. Points are not earned for discounted items, purchases made with a gift card or on non-inventory items (special orders), lessons or education programs, repairs or trips booked with the travel department. Rewards may not be exchanged for cash or any cash equivalent. If you forgot to identify your membership while making a purchase in the shop, you can get credit by notifying a store manager at your next visit. A unique and valid email address is required. Tailwaters Fly Fishing has no responsibility to retroactively apply rewards or use of the membership. All rewards will expire if the rewards account is inactive for 2 years (no purchase has been made).”
